Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical FinOps E-commerce Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations for our e-commerce business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and identifying areas for cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for the e-commerce business, including transaction processing, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain financial models to track revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Perform financial analysis and provide insights into business performance, identifying areas for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Monitor and manage cash flow for the e-commerce business, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial reports and present findings to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements related to financial operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial operations, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
