Job Description
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and market share.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, and identify their needs and requirements.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
- Manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching and support as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure the successful execution of business initiatives.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Attend industry conferences and events to network and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team of sales professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building and maintaining relationships with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ability to travel as needed.
