Buymed is expanding its footprint across international markets, and we are seeking a strategic, results-driven International Business Development Manager to spearhead growth beyond Vietnam. In this role, you will lead efforts to identify, develop, and execute business strategies to expand Buymed’s presence in global markets, primarily focusing on partnerships with multinational corporations (MNCs), healthcare providers, and distributors.
Your mission will be to grow our business by identifying untapped opportunities, negotiating high-level deals, and forming long-lasting relationships that align with our core values of Intellectual Curiosity, Think Different, and Impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies for expanding Buymed’s business into new international markets.
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities, consumer preferences, competitive landscape, and regulatory challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance) to ensure market-fit solutions.
- Partnership & Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain relationships with key international stakeholders, including MNCs, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare institutions, and distributors.
- Develop a luxury network of C-level connections that can support Buymed’s growth goals in international markets.
- Negotiation & Deal Structuring:
- Lead negotiations and structure deals with potential international partners and clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Develop strategic business plans that drive revenue and market share growth, while aligning with Buymed’s global vision.
- Sales & Performance Management:
- Drive sales and performance through focused business development activities.
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets for the international business and ensure consistent reporting and achievement.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to international expansion efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Commercial Excellence team to align international expansion with Buymed’s overall strategy.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to international regulations and market standards.
- Brand Representation:
- Act as the face of Buymed in international markets, representing our core values of Curiosity, Greater Good, and Embracing Complexity in every engagement.
