Job Description
As the Legal Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters and providing strategic legal guidance to ensure compliance with laws and regulations within the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement legal strategies and policies to support business objectives and mitigate legal risks.
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including Operations, Finance, Supply…
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to the pharmaceutical industry and ensure the company’s compliance.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation matters in collaboration with external counsel.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide guidance on legal implications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and intellectual property laws.
- Conduct internal trainings and awareness programs on legal and regulatory matters for employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and industry associations.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance to senior management on legal issues
- Assist with the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties specified by CEO within scope of Buymed and its Subsidiaries for interdependency and conflict resolution.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on corporate and commercial law, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in managing legal disputes and litigation matters.
- Ability to provide strategic legal advice and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in an ecommerce or technology-driven environment.
- Prior experience in managing a legal team.
